Hey, thanks for checking out my website. Here’s a little bit about me:

I was born in 1993.

It also happens to be the same year my favorite movie released, Jurassic Park.

Coincidence or fate?

When I was five, I had a sweet Iron Man costume made for Halloween (or at least five year old me thought so, it was spray painted cardboard.)

First movie I ever got to see in theaters was Batman Begins. We didn’t really have the opportunity to go growing up.

I’ve always had a love of creativity and imagination ever since I was little, from running around in the woods, playing out a grand adventure to filming silly videos with buddies.

First job was working at a summer camp. Ended up playing a villain each week for our morning gathering. Created a supervillain, dictator alter-ego. Maybe if you ask nicely, I’ll share some pictures.

Did some cool pranks. My favorite was creating a fossil dig site with a fake velociraptor skeleton.

Met my wife at the very same camp. Ended up proposing there our last year on staff.

Started my professional career in video production in 2012 by professionally creating silly videos (for real money too.)

Started flying drones when those were first becoming a thing, might be the only time I got in early on a trend (I do keep up with them though, I promise.)

Bought my own camera, a Panasonic GH4. What a sweet camera.

Got married in 2015 to the love of my life. Worked some movie quotes into my vows.

Worked for a fairly large YouTube channel, didn’t know there were any big ones in Ohio but turns out there’s a few.

Started a YouTube channel from scratch, making short-form documentaries about the survivors of WWII. Got to hear from some interesting people.

Bought a house in 2020, starting fixing it up. English ivy is the worst.

Our first kid was born in 2023. Seeing the world through his eyes brings back all of the childlike wonder and raw imaginative creativity I felt as a kid.

Recently picked up photography as a fun creative outlet. I’ve been enjoying the limited nature of the X100VI and the simplicity of using the film simulations. It also makes a great dad cam.
